About Us

Our Story

I knew growing up that I was on the more privileged side of the spectrum and as a rising adult, I have realized that society has been on my side for my entire life. I have decided that now it is time to start giving back to the people who are not as privileged as me. I started off this goal by beginning to volunteer at my local assisted living facility, where I go and lead numerous games of Bingo and attend to any other needs of the residents. This led me to also start volunteering at the Florida Hospital Emergency Department where I greet guests with a smile and run any errands that the front desk requires of me. With all of this in mind, I realized that I wanted to do something more. With all of the resources available to me, with my mom being a dentist, I thought what better to do than give people access to the dental hygiene many people lack.

Our Team

  1. Sandhya Ponnaganti is a sophomore at Palm Harbor University High school. She says , “Growing up and watching my mom in dentistry has really made me develop a passion for it and MOral Health was the perfect organization to get me more involved in the field. Starting young and giving back to the society should be implemented more at an early stage of our lives which is what got me involved with MOral Health.”
  2. Lily Farzaneh, a junior at King High School, explains how “MOral health is an outlet for my passion for dentistry while impacting the lives of others. When starting this organization, it put together these two principles, medicine and helping others, and founded the fondness and dedication I have for MOral health”.
  3. An 11th grader at King High School, Uma Vogeti is a dedicated teenager. Approached by a close friend to join MOral Health, she immediately said yes. This journey has made her realize how much of an impact she can have on her community, and the importance of being part of something much bigger than one person. She knew it was worth it to bring smiles to the people who deserved them.
  4. Rahul Ainpudi is a junior at King High School who is devoted to giving back to his community every chance he gets. He founded MOral Health Inc. after assessing carefully all of his available assets and his own interests. He is thankful for his always supporting parents and would not have been able to do this without his dedicated team members and the generous volunteer dentists
